In the year 2000 the veneer and lumber company FERDINAND HAMSEN celebrated his 100th anniversary. Not only Ferdinand Hamsen and his son Ferdinand Hamsen junior are proud of this jubilee.

In the year 1995 they built a new modern Warehouse with a great selection of :

... this is the motto for the company for buying round logs. A lot of time is passing till the logs are getting the "Okay" by Ferdinand Hamsen.

  Grading and professional classifying for every log is the result of a long and competent experience. Just the best remains so that the customers are satisfied with their purchase.
    After custom cutting all veneers will be graded and sorted. Every log has his own value and will be prepared for the customers. So the Ferdinand Hamsen company is able to give exact information about the veneers and lumbers. They work out just the best for their customers.
  Right at the crate the customer makes his decision. He knows his object and selects the veneer exactly as he requires for his work.
    In recent time we are able to deliver you more than 100 different kind of species. In our stock you will find exclusive architectual and interior veneers and lumbers for your wishes.
 

From picked out round logs we are slicing first class veneers and lumbers. After grading every log, just the best ones are going into the production.

Smooth and clean lumber is absolutly important for the daily business. Due to this reason the lumber is sawed exactly and dried perfectly. The same as in the veneer mill there is always someone from the company to check the production and to devide the round logs.

Before the lumber is going into the dryer, every piece is professionally stored and predried.
